We are an amazing community of believers who love Jesus, love our unbelieving spouse, our family, and one another. We are united together by the two greatest directives:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” ~Jesus Christ

We love God and we love people.

Our community is a place where we meet together to pause and breathe in hope. It’s a place where encouragement is perpetual and a place where we catch glimpses of God in the ordinary and the spectacular. It’s a home for those of us who become weary of the battles of life. It is a welcoming door we walk through for a brief respite where we sit with others who KNOW how we feel. This place is where we wrap words of encouragement around each other and feel the embrace of love, kindness and compassion.

This place is where we cast out judgment and learn forgiveness. We practice patience, acceptance, selfless service and we experience the divine. It is a place where we laugh out loud and celebrate victories. It is a place where we cry with heavy tears when life is ugly and it hurts. It is where we find courage to take the next step and wisdom to know it’s the right step. It’s a place where we stop pretending marriage is easy and a place we can share our “authentic” selves. This is a home to all of us who are living out our lives as part of something greater than ourselves.

Meet Lynn

Lynn Donovan is a women’s ministry leader, a retreat and conference speaker, and an ordinary wife and mom who shares with audiences her everyday adventures of walking in the Presence of God. Her delight is igniting women’s hearts with Holy Spirit fire, inspiring them to step fully into their high and holy calling of marriage and motherhood with joy, laughter, and God’s favor. She shares her stories with live audiences, through radio, and through the World Wide Web.

Lynn founded the online ministry, SpirituallyUnequalMarriage.com in 2006 where she writes to encourage and equip spouses who are spiritually mismatched. She has written marriage and parenting articles for such magazines as Flourish and Focus on the Family, and is the co-author of the award winning book,Winning Him Without Words, 10 Key to Thriving in Your Spiritually Mismatch Marriage and Not Alone, Trusting God To Help You Raise Godly Kids in a Spiritually Mismatched Marriage.

Lynn also speaks in a wide variety of settings: conferences, retreats, women’s events, prayer breakfasts, and MOPS functions. In addition, she is a regular guest on Christian radio including the Moody Radio Network, Focus on the Family Radio, FamilyLife Today, and Dr. James Dobson’s FamilyTalk. Her passion is igniting women’s hearts with Holy Spirit fire, inspiring them to step fully into their high and holy calling of marriage and motherhood with joy, laughter, and God’s favor.

Married more than 20 years to her best friend, Mike, she lives in Temecula, California and has an adult son and a teenaged daughter. She loves to a good laugh, a strong cup of coffee, Fantasy Football, and she loves Jesus. She lives every day in expectation of God’s love and astonishing Presence.

Meet Dineen

Dineen Miller readily admits that one of the greatest lessons she’s learning about life is that there’s purpose in our trials. It’s all about trusting God and putting our hope in Him. Her favorite stories are of the miracles God has wrought in the lives of her family. Through this lens she also believes her years as a youth counselor, a Stephen Minister, a women’s ministry leader and a life group leader fuel her desire to ignite the souls of others through words of truth. She’s also a retreat and conference speaker and has been featured on the Moody Radio Network, Focus on the Family Radio, Dr. James Dobson’s FamilyTalk and FamilyLife Today.

In addition to writing for SpirituallyUnequalMarriage.com, Dineen has won several prestigious awards for her fiction, and is the author of The Soul Saver and the novella, A Love Meant To Be, part of the Central Park Rendezvous Collection. She is the co-author of the Winning Him Without Words: 10 Keys to Thriving in Your Spiritually Mismatched Marriage, which received the award for Non-Fiction Book of 2011 from the San Diego Christian Writers Guild, one of the largest Christian writers group in the United States. Her latest book, Not Alone: Trusting God to Help You Raise Godly Kids in a Spiritually Mismatched Home will release in October.
